Winnipeg Chapter President Raises $6000 for the Homeless…

Abdo Eltassi, President of the Winnipeg Chapter of CICC, recently raised $6000 for the homeless in the 4th Annual CEO Sleepout on September 18, 2014.

Since its inception, the CEO Sleepout has fundraised nearly half a million dollars to employ 40 individuals who are homeless – providing shelter, quality of life supports, and an opportunity to contribute back to the city in a positive and meaningful way. Many of these individuals have returned to school or found permanent full-time jobs.

Abdo commented, “My sincerest thanks to all of you who sponsored me in the 4th Annual CEO Sleepout, which raised over $200,000.00 in support of Winnipeg’s Homeless.  Through your generous support I was personally able to fundraise over $6,000.00 for this very worthwhile cause.”

Dr. Asim Ashique, National President of CICC, commented “Abdo Eltassi is a model citizen who has made hard work and charity the foundations of his life. We are proud to have him working with us.”
